Ohio State completed one of the best seasons in program history this year with an overall record of 16-2-4. Along with Maisonneuve, assistants Travis Morris, Matt Foldesy, Corey Brueggeman, program assistant Devyn Etling, athletic trainer Pat Brayfield and strength and conditioning coach Rebecca Freiburger all shared in the honor.
The Buckeyes, ranked No. 1 nationally over the final several weeks of the regular seasons, advanced to the 2024 College Cup, won the annual Big Ten Tournament and shared the league regular-season title.Â
Ohio State earned the No. 1 seed in both the 2024 Big Ten and NCAA Tournament and won four-consecutive postseason home matches on its way to the semifinals of the 2024 College Cup in Cary, North Carolina.Â
