125-No. 16 Dean Peterson (RUT) def. No. 10 Brendan McCrone (OSU) | D, 11-4
Peterson scored the first takedown and after a McCrone escape Rutgers led 3-1. Peterson added a takedown and a two-point nearfall to lead 8-1. Rutgers challenged the call of only a two-point nearfall but the call was confirmed. McCrone added another escape before a Peterson takedown made it 11-2 after three minutes. There was no scoring in the second period. McCrone chose top to open the third. McCrone was awarded a stalling point but fell 11-4 by decision after a point for riding time for Ohio State.
133-No. 17 Dylan Shawver (RUT) def. No. 9 Nic Bouzakis (OSU) | D, 4-3
There was no scoring in the opening period. Bouzakis escaped to open the second to lead 1-0 after five minutes. Shawver tied it at 1-all with an escape in the third. Shawver got a takedown followed by a Bouzakis escape. Bouzakis was awarded a point for stalling but fell 4-3 by decision.
141-No. 1 Jesse Mendez (OSU) def. Max Hermes (RUT) | TF, 17-2
A Mendez takedown and Hermes escape made it 3-1 Buckeyes. Mendez repeated the sequence two more times for a 9-3 advantage. Mendez added a three-point nearfall to lead 12-2 after the first. Mendez was awarded a point on a stalling call and added a takedown to lead 16-2 after two periods. Mendez escaped to open the third to win by technical fall, 17-2.
