Hollenbaugh Repeats as South Atlantic Women’s Amateur Champion

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s golf junior Kary Hollenbaugh has won her second straight tile at the South Atlantic Women’s Amateur (SALLY), which wrapped up on Saturday at Oceanside Country Club in Ormond Beach, Fla.

Over four rounds, Hollenbaugh carded a five-under 283. She was the only player in the final field of 62 to shoot three under-par rounds.

Hollenbaugh opened the tournament by carding a one-under 71. She followed that up by firing back-to-back rounds of 70 (-2) and wrapped up competition on Saturday with an even 72 in round four. Hollenbaugh had 15 birdies throughout the tournament and shot even par 48 times.

Hollenbaugh’s victory at the tournament earns her a sponsor’s exemption into an EPSON Tour event.

In 2024, Hollenbaugh also had a phenomenal showing at Oceanside Country Club, claiming the SALLY title with a nine-under 279. She was the only player to shoot under par in all four rounds of play.
