The Best Presidents’ Day HP Laptop Deals

One of the best deals on offer at HP’s Presidents’ Day sale sees a massive $500 price cut on the very solid Pavilion 16t laptop. This is a multitasking machine with a nice 16:10 display that outputs WUXGA resolution, and under the hood you’ll get a decent loadout of components starting with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. The addition of USB-C charging to this model is welcome, and battery life is decent, especially with HP’s Fast Charge tech that can bring it from 0 to 50% in a half an hour. For six hundred bucks, it’s an absolute steal. Check out how it stacks up on our list of the best laptops we’ve tested.

$1,099.99

The Victus is HP’s entry-level gaming laptop, but this model’s good enough to step into the midrange category and deliver reliable 1080p performance, and with a 39% price cut it’s a real contender. In our review of the Victus 16, we praised the portable’s trim form factor, speedy CPU and impressive battery life, with our one caveat being that the sticker price seemed a bit high. Consider that problem solved. This configuration ships with a Ryzen 5 8645S processor, 16GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, throwing to a FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

HP Laptop 17

A big-screen laptop used to be a luxury, but these days you can get a sizable portable display for a very reasonable price. Case in point: the HP 17, which boasts a surprisingly big 17″ diagonal 1080p IPS display with 300 nits of brightness. While it’s not necessarily tricked out for gaming, it’s more than sturdy enough to be a media streaming machine on the go, with up to 10 hours of battery life for video playback. The peppy enough Intel Core 7 processor will handle word processing, spreadsheets and other workplace tasks with ease, and it’s relatively lightweight at just 4.6 pounds. We reviewed an earlier model and liked it quite a bit.

HP Envy 17t Laptop

Intel Core Ultra 5 125H CPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD

$699.99
at HP

$1,149.99
Save $450.00

Here’s another large-screen portable at a juicy discount. The Envy 17t is built around a big, vivid edge-to-edge glass 17.3″ FHD screen, with 300 nits of brightness and good color accuracy. It’s a great choice for streaming media on the go. Of course, this laptop is good for other stuff as well, and even though the components aren’t cutting-edge they’re still more than enough for Web surfing, productivity tasks and even some casual gaming. Plenty of ports, including dual Thunderbolt USB-Cs, make it even more versatile, and the large profile means you get a full-sized keyboard and number pad.

We gave an Editors’ Choice award to the Omen 35L tower in our review, praising its attractive and spacious chassis, whisper-quiet cooling and easy upgradeability. Right now, they have a more than competent build for 1440p gaming on sale for $300 off, featuring an Intel Core i5-14400F processor paired with 16GB of RAM and a RTX 4060 graphics card. While it doesn’t push the performance envelope, this is a very nice machine in its own right.

The Best Presidents’ Day HP Printer Deals

You’re not going to find a budget printer deal with a price cut this deep. Taking over 50% off of the HP Envy 6065e and getting six months of HP’s Instant Ink service in the bargain is massive. In our review of this unit, we said that it offers a robust assortment of features, including the ability to print through the cloud from any Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android device. We did note that its page speed is a little slow and there’s no automatic document feeder, so it’s best suited for casual use rather than heavy-duty. At sixty bucks, though, you can pick one up as an emergency backup.

For something a little sturdier, you can’t beat carving $110 off of this sturdy and reliable black and white printer. While it didn’t make our list of the best printers in 2025, the LaserJet Pro 4001n is still a very capable machine with a speedy 42 pages per minute output, no warm-up time and centralized print management through HP’s Smart Admin service, which also lets you set security and print permissions. If you’re a document-heavy user that needs a no-fuss printing option, this might be the best deal on the market right now.
