Ever placed an Amazon order only to realize you forgot something? With the platform’s new “Add to Delivery” button, Prime members can add items to an order that hasn’t been delivered yet.
“With this feature, Amazon is adapting to how people actually shop: one need at a time, as they arise,” the company says.
The new blue button appears below eligible items on the Amazon Shopping app and website on mobile. You may see “Add to today’s delivery” or “Add to [day] ‘s delivery,” depending on when your existing order is scheduled to arrive.
If you accidentally tap the new button instead of Add to cart, you can press Undo. At launch, the feature supports electronics, clothing, books, and grocery items, according to The Verge.

Amazon had been testing the feature with select Prime members for some time. It has been used over 50 million times already, Doug Herrington, CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores, said in an accompanying video.

One of its biggest benefits is that you don’t need to check out or pay extra shipping fees. “Just find what you need, tap the ‘Add to Delivery’ button, and your item will be added to your upcoming delivery automatically,” Amazon says.
The feature arrives right before Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale kicks off on Oct. 7.
