You can get Chromebooks for a variety of prices, but you’d be hard-pressed to spend over a thousand bucks. And with Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days coming October 7, prices are dropping even lower. Here are seven of the best Chromebook deals we’ve found so far (with more to come).

Lenovo Chromebook Deal
Lenovo makes reliably high-quality products, even at a budget price, and its Chromebooks are no different. At just under $200, this machine isn’t likely to dazzle you with speedy performance, but it’s more than capable enough for schoolwork, web browsing and light media streaming. We reviewed the base model IdeaPad 3 Chromebook, praising its solid port selection, long battery life, cool operation, and impressive battery life–up to 13.5 hours on a single charge.
Acer Chromebook Deals
For something a little bit more capable, the Vero 514 from Acer got an “Excellent” rating in our review, noting that it brought premium quality to the Chromebook market with surprisingly solid internals, including a generous 8GB of RAM and an Intel processor. It’s built according to MIL-STD 810H standards, so it can take a licking. Although it’s not the most stylish package we’ve ever seen, it has some unusual perks like a backlit keyboard, and at 23% off, it more than earns its keep.
Another excellent high-end Chromebook on sale right now, the Acer Chromebook Plus 516 GE snagged an Editors’ Choice award in our review. Built around the Chromebook Plus platform for enhanced performance, this is a fast and stable machine with nice build quality and one of the best screens we’ve ever seen on a Chromebook, boasting full 3K resolution at a 120Hz frame rate. Under the hood, the Intel Core 5 processor is solid, and 8GB of RAM gives you more multitasking ability. Connectivity is also exceptional, featuring dual USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, and Ethernet. A 23% discount makes it even more compelling.
Samsung Chromebook Deal
Samsung makes a robust assortment of Chromebooks, and this one is a decent value. We gave a decent rating to the Chromebook 4+ in our review, noting that it featured a comfortable keyboard, decent assortment of ports and was easy to tote around thanks to its light weight. We docked a few points for the low screen brightness, but for just a little over $250 it’s one of the better big-screen full HD options in the price range. It also comes with a free Google One subscription with 200GB of cloud storage for 12 months.

Asus Chromebook Deal
Finally, we have a convertible portable that will surprise people that it’s a Chromebook. The 360-degree hinge on the Chromebook Plus Flip CX5 lets you use it in a bunch of different ways, including as a tablet with its bright, responsive touchscreen; a traditional laptop with a capable keyboard; and a tent display. With a speedy Intel i3 processor, Chrome OS can shine with effortless multitasking and instantaneous startup. While it’s spendy for a Chromebook, it still delivers extended battery life and virus-free operation. See how it compares on our list of the best Chromebooks.
HP Chromebook Deals
Another Chromebook Plus convertible, the HP x360 is an adaptable little machine with solid performance and build quality. We gave this one a full review, where contributing editor Eric Grevstad noted its “attractive everyday productivity, novel AI enhancements, and colorful touch screen.” Weighing in at 3.31 pounds, it’s easy to take anywhere, and there’s a solid selection of ports, but unfortunately no HDMI output. That minor quibble aside, this is a good value, and a little 5% extra discount makes it worth checking out.
Recommended by Our Editors
For a more traditional budget Chromebook, this HP model is a good value. With a decently-sized 15.6-inch screen, a capable Intel N200 processor, and a bunch of bundled accessories, you’re getting a lot for your cash. The base machine’s storage loadout is pretty skimpy, with just 64GB of eMMC onboard, but this offer comes with a 256GB SD card and adapter to give you a little more space, along with a pair of wireless headphones and a wireless mouse. You can see how it clocks in compared to our rundown of the best Chromebooks.
