TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women’s volleyball head coach Brian Wright announced the program’s 2025 schedule on Wednesday. The schedule features four non-conference tournaments and 18 Mid-American Conference matchups in a 30-match slate.
Wright will debut as the Rockets’ head coach on Friday, Aug. 29 at 6:00 p.m. when the Rockets host Albany for the home opener during the Rocket Invitational on Aug. 29-31. The team will also welcome Saint Francis and Robert Morris to Savage Arena for the weekend.
“It’s so exciting to see the schedule come together for my first season as a Rocket,” said Wright. “With this being our first year of selling season tickets and a ton of excitement in the air for this next phase of Toledo Volleyball, I’m excited for the fans to get an opportunity to see us at home for 12 matches. This is a team that will put in the work and is looking forward to every chance we get to compete this fall.”
The non-conference portion of the schedule includes four tournaments against a variety of opponents. Following the Rocket Invitational, UT will head to Morehead State on Sept. 5-6 to take on Morehead State, Radford and UIC. Afterward, the Rockets will head west to Boulder, Colo. to face Denver, Colorado and Arkansas. Toledo will close out non-conference action at Purdue Fort Wayne on Sept. 19-20, competing against Bellarmine, Mercyhurst and Purdue Fort Wayne.
MAC play begins on Thursday, Sept. 25 with a matchup against Kent State at home followed by a match against Ohio on Friday, Sept. 26. The Battle of I-75 will be at Savage Arena on Tuesday, Oct. 7 while Miami (Oct. 24-25), Western Michigan (Oct. 31-Nov. 1) and Buffalo (Nov. 7-8) are set to visit the Rockets to round out the MAC schedule. The 2025 MAC Championship will be on Friday-Sunday, Nov. 21-23 at Bowling Green, the 2024 MAC regular season champions. Toledo has clinched a spot in four-consecutive MAC Championships, setting a program record.
For the first time ever, fans can purchase season tickets to Toledo women’s volleyball beginning at $65. Single game tickets will be on sale starting Wednesday afternoon for $10 general admission seating and $12 for reserved seats. Group ticket sales will begin on Friday, June 20 beginning at $7 for groups of 15 or more. Tickets can be pruchased at UTRockets.com/VBTix.
The remaining game times and TV schedules will be released at a later date.
