OXFORD, Ohio – The Toledo softball team dropped its doubleheader to Miami on Tuesday afternoon. The RedHawks tallied 9-1 and 9-3 wins during the twin bill in Oxford, Ohio.
Senior center fielder Kendra VanderLugt recorded her sixth home run of the season in game two, sending a two-run blast over the left-field fence. Sidney Griffith added an RBI double in the seventh inning.
Griffith and VanderLugt are tied for the team lead with 33 hits.

- Kendra VanderLugt’s two-run homer made the score 8-2 in the fifth inning.
