TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball program has named senior Caden Konczak, redshirt senior Yianni Skeriotis and sophomore Charlie Scholvin as its team captains for the 2025 season, Head Coach Rob Reinstetle announced on Friday.
The three captains were selected by a vote among team members during the fall. A total of 17 players received at least one vote to be captain.
“Yianni, Caden and Chuck are very deserving of the honor to be captain,” said Head Coach Rob Reinstetle. “Each of them possess all of the characteristics of a true leader. Their teammates recognized their character and I couldn’t agree more with the selections. When tallying the team’s votes this fall, I was blown away that 17 players received a vote. That shows us that we have some really good leadership across the 2025 team.”
