TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo Women’s Volleyball Head Coach Brian Wright announced the addition of Trinity Adams as an assistant coach for the 2025 season on Wednesday. Adams joins the Rockets after a four-year career at the University of Florida.
“Trinity is a huge step forward for Toledo Volleyball,” said Wright. “From hiring a third assistant coach for the first time in program history to the amazing person she is, Toledo Volleyball gets better with the addition of Trinity. Over the past four years, she played at a very high level, has developed exceptional volleyball IQ, and has a great eye for the game. She has been a team captain and knows what it takes for student-athletes to excel at the highest level year in and year out – both on and off the court. Throughout the interview process, it was clear to me that she could relate to our current team while pushing them to be consistently great every day. She comes from a coaching family and has gotten very high praise for her to potential to be an exceptional coach. We are thrilled to have her start her collegiate coaching journey here at Toledo.”
Originally from Radford, Va., Adams saw action in 99 matches during her four-year career at Florida. She totaled over 450 digs as a defensive specialist, including a career-best 17 against then-No. 1 Wisconsin (Sept. 17, 2023). Adams won the 2019 Virginia High School state championship at Radford High School.
“I’m incredibly honored and excited to join the Rocket community,” said Adams. “The opportunity to work alongside Brian, Bethany (Lokken), and Jordan (Armstrong) as I begin my coaching career is a tremendous privilege. I look forward to contributing to the continued success and bright future of Toledo Volleyball.”
Adams graduated from the University of Florida in the fall of 2024 with her bachelor’s degree in marine sciences.
