TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women’s track and field tram will split between two meets this weekend. Karina James, Margrett Watt and Peter McMahon will compete at the Silverston Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Friday, while Dominic Serem and McMahon will run at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Ind. on Saturday.
James and Watt will run in the 800m, with McMahon seeing action in the 3000m on Friday at Michigan. On Saturday, Serem will compete in the mile and McMahon will run in the 3000m at Notre Dame.
LAST TIME OUT
Laura Nicholson broke the school record in the mile run with a time of 4:30.85 at the Eagle Elite Invitational in Boston last weekend. In Chicago, Dominic Serem set the men’s record in the 3000m with a final mark of 7:58.57 at the Wisconsin Windy City Invite. Multiple Rockets, including Gabby Phelan and Bailey Ranta, recorded personal bests at the Windy City Invite.
