COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s lacrosse team plays its fourth of seven consecutive home games Tuesday, Feb. 11 against Bellarmine. First faceoff between the Buckeyes (2-1) and Knights (1-1) is set for 3 p.m. at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium.

Buckeyes In a Nutshell

  • The Buckeyes have won their last two games by scores of 14-4. The team most recently defeated Cleveland State Saturday to improve to 2-1 on the season. Alex Marinier (4G) and Ryan Donnery (2G, 2A) led the team in points. On defense, four players recorded multiple caused turnovers, and the team finished with a season-best 15 caused turnovers on the day.
  • Ohio State is led on attack by Marinier and sophomore Garrett Haas with nine points on the season. The duo is tied for fifth in the Big Ten in points.
  • Marinier paces the team, and league, with nine goals in three games. He is third in the country in the category and ranks second in the Big Ten with 3.00 goals per game. The Burlington, Ont. native has two man-up goals this season, tying for first in the country. He has two four-goal games in 2025.
  • Cullen Brown is top ten in the country and second in the conference with 3.00 caused turnovers per game. Ohio State is second in the Big Ten with 12.67 caused turnovers per game.
  • The team leads the Big Ten and is fourth nationally with 39.00 ground balls per game. Jack Oldman, who is .612 (30-for-49) on the faceoff, leads the team with 26 ground balls on the year his 8.67 ground balls per game average is the best in the conference and eighth overall.
  • Sophomore Caleb Fyock is 2-0 in goal for the Buckeyes. His 5.15 goals against average and .667 save percentage rank second in the league.

History vs. Bellarmine

  • Ohio State is 11-1-0 in the all-time series against Bellarmine and have won the last eight meetings.
  • The Buckeyes and Knights were conference foes from 2007-14 as members of the ECAC and GWLL.  
  • The teams met last season in Columbus with Ohio State winning, 10-6.

  • Ohio State hosts nine games at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium in the 2025 season.
