COLUMBUS, Ohio — No. 2 Ohio State (5-0) opens the home portion of the 2025-26 dual season Thursday (7 p.m.) at the Covelli Center against intrastate foe Kent State (1-1) The match will be streamed on B1G+.
Earlier in the day, redshirt freshman Ben Davino was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week after going 4-0 at the 2025 National Duals Invitational and helping the Buckeyes win the event title. Davino posted a pair of wins by technical fall with another by major decision. He also defeated No. 2 Drake Ayala of Iowa in the championship dual, 10-4. USA Wrestling also named Davino its national athlete of the week for his efforts in Tulsa.
