Sunday, Ohio State will take on Brandeis at 11:15 a.m. ET (Pod C), Incarnate Word at 12:30 p.m. ET (Pod D) and No. 2 Columbia at 1:45 p.m. ET (Pod B). Video from Pods A, B and C will be available on the Air Force Youtube page. Fans planning to attend in person must fill out the base access visitor pass form.
The Buckeye Women
Ohio State was 4-0 on the day, with a 15-12 win over UC San Diego, a 16-11 victory over the host Air Force Falcons and 14-13 defeats of No. 9 Stanford and Tufts. The women’s epee squad was 4-0, with sabre 3-1 and foil 0-4.
Natalia Botello led the women’s sabre squad with an 8-1 ledger. In women’s epee, Gloria Klughardt had an 8-0 record and Marie-Frederique Millette was 7-2. Four Buckeyes had three wins each to pace foil – Lira Cannon, Masha Cojocari, Alexis Kostelny and Raiyan Moradi-Bidhendi.
The Buckeye Men
The men picked up three victories Saturday, downing No. 15 USCD 17-10, host Air Force 16-11 and No. 11 Stanford, 14-13. Men’s epee was 3-0,while foil was 2-1 and sabre was 1-2.
In men’s epee, Viktor Kulcsar was 6-0, with Ayush Shah 5-0. Lorenzo Mion led men’s foil with six wins and in men’s sabre, Avin Rai (five) and Carter Berrio (four) were first for the squad.
