COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Buckeyes will travel to Eugene, Ore. to compete in the Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships this Friday through Sunday.

Friday’s events will start at 3 p.m. ET with the decathlon 100m and the men’s hammer throw. The decathlon also kicks off Saturday’s action with the 110m hurdles at 12:30 p.m. ET. On Sunday, the women’s javelin will start at 1 p.m. ET. Action on Friday and Saturday will be streamed on B1G+ and RunnerSpace, while Sunday’s action will be available on Big Ten Network.

LAST MEET’S TOP PERFORMERS
- At the beginning of the month, Ohio State hosted the annual Jesse Owens Classic, claiming three wins and breaking seven personal records.
- Lacey Stringer was the women’s shot put champion with her best throw being 15.45m/50’8.25″.
- Alex Kenish won the men’s 800m after running a time of 1:52.66.
- Tanner Watson claimed the third title of the weekend with his best discus throw of 54.53m/178’11”.
- Braden Wakey opened the meet with a PR of 54.51m / 178’10” in the men’s javelin, finishing third.
- In the women’s hammer throw, Stringer placed second, also hitting a PR of 62.40m/204’8″.
- Weston Day finished second in the men’s 5000m with a time of 14:02.67, shaving off roughly 12 seconds off his previous PR (14:14.31).
- Jack Knapke (ninth, 56.36m/184’11”) and Lawson Maag (51.51m/169′) each set new PRs in the men’s hammer throw.
- Sopuluchi Anosike placed fifth with PR setting distance of 6.87m/22’6.5″ in the men’s long jump. Anosike then came in 10th with a new men’s high jump PR of 1.99m/6’6.25″.
- Kiera White set a new personal record in the women’s long jump (5.21m/17’1.25″).
- Carina Napoleon set a new PR (4:27.37) in the women’s 1500m, placing 12th.
- Sophie Fong (third, 4.13m/13’6.5″) set a new pole vault PR and moved up to second among the all-time individual leaders in Buckeye program history in the outdoor women’s pole vault.
