COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 7 seeded Ohio State field hockey team (8-10, 3-5 Big Ten) fell to the No. 3 seeded Iowa Hawkeyes (14-4, 5-3 Big Ten), 3-1, in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament in Bloomington, Ind. on Friday.

- Iowa answered with just over two and half minutes remaining in the first quarter, tying the score 1-1 after converting on a penalty corner.
- Iowa dominated the second quarter, scoring twice after penalty corners and the Buckeyes trailed by two, 3-1, going into halftime.
- The Buckeyes were awarded a penalty stroke about halfway through the third quarter. Zella Bailey took the shot, but she was denied as the Iowa goalkeeper made the save.
- Ohio State trailed the Hawkeyes, 3-1, going into the final quarter.

- Webster, Anne Marie Krebs and Katie Fichtner led the Buckeyes in shots against the Hawkeyes with three each.

- The Buckeyes outshot the Hawkeyes, 12-8, and led in penalty corners, 6-3.
