MAUMEE, Ohio — A woman was hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash in Maumee overnight.
Maumee police said the driver was traveling eastbound on the Anthony Wayne Trail and struck a guard rail at the entrance ramp to I-475 north shortly after 1 a.m. Friday.
The woman’s car traveled down a hill and she was ejected from the sunroof. According to police, the injured female was found lying in the grass. Police said she was conscious as she was being transported to the hospital.
Ohio Department of Transportation crews responded to the scene to repair the damaged guardrail.
