TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Organizers are inviting the community to help them raise money for the visually impaired at the 60th annual Turkey Day Open to be held at the Heather Downs Country Club on November 27.
It features nine holes of golf, awards and a goal to raise $6,000 for the Sight Center of Northwest Ohio, which aims to empower people who are blind or visually impaired to live independently.
The fundraiser was founded by a father-son optometrist duo, and continued to this day by the Kime family.
