TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – An alleged car thief faces multiple charges in connection to a police pursuit that injured three others in June.
According to Toledo Police, on June 20, around 2 p.m., officers spotted Semaj Harris driving a stolen vehicle at the intersection o Superior and Jackson, and attempted to pull him over.
Harris, 20, allegedly fled the traffic stop, drove through a red light at the Monroe intersection, crashing into one vehicle, then hitting another at the intersection of Monroe and 14th St.
He currently faces Failure to Comply and Possession of Criminal Tools charges.
A trial date has been set for August 26.
