Toledo hit-and-run leaves teenager with injuries, police say

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo Police are looking for an unknown driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured a teenager. The incident happened at the intersection of Nevada and Raymer around 11:20 a.m. on April 15.

According to a news release from the Toledo Police Department, a 14-year-old was traveling south on Raymer when a vehicle heading west on Nevada near Raymer hit the teen. They were injured and taken to an area hospital. The extent of those injuries is unclear.

The report did not specify whether the teen was in a car, another type of motorized vehicle or a bike at the time of the crash.

The report said the hit-and-run driver took off heading west on Nevada. A description of the driver or their vehicle was not included. Anyone with information on the incident can contact Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
