TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – City leaders are set to unveil Toledo’s new flag on Tuesday, coinciding with Toledo’s 188th birthday.
The Arts Commission will give a presentation during a special Toledo City Council meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2025, to explain the process and selection of the city’s next flag.
Council members are expected to vote at the meeting. A flag raising ceremony is expected to begin at 4:00 p.m.
It comes after the Arts Commission held a flag designing competition to narrow down a list of finalists.
