Three arrested in Hancock Co. drug bust

FINDLAY, Ohio (WTVG) – Three people were arrested Thursday after authorities executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on Lester Avenue in Findlay.

According to a press release from the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, Brianne Settlemire, Jeremiah Meeks and Shela Long were arrested Thursday.

According to the release, the task force, along with the Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant and found what is believed to be methamphetamine, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Authorities also found items they believe it indicative of drug trafficking.

Settlemire, 37, was charged with permitting drug abuse. Meeks, 44, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of crack cocaine. Long, 35, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the release, additional charges of drug trafficking and possession of drugs are expected when the investigation is completed.
