TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – An Adrian man was arrested Wednesday on nearly two dozen charges related to improper sexual conduct involving a minor.
Duane Baugh, 27, of Adrian, was arrested on April 23 after a reported lengthy undercover operation that resulted in the man allegedly trying to meet with what he thought was an underage girl. It was actually an officer.
The Lake Township Police Department conducted a six month undercover investigation where an officer posed as an underage girl and had multiple conversations with Baugh. Authorities arrested him when he came to Lake Township in an attempt to meet who he thought was a young girl.
He was booked into the Wood County jail on nearly two dozen charges, including 17 counts of importuning, three counts of disseminating harmful matter to juveniles, one count of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
