FREMONT, Ohio (WTVG) – Buckeye fans unite! You can enjoy burgers, flatbread, and wings with some zip at Silver Top Sports Bar & Grill, 3939 N. State Route 53, Fremont, Ohio.
The look of the restaurant is enough to make you want to pull over a quaff a few. It’s an old building initially used for military production during World War II. Soon after, it became a restaurant and evolved into a mainstay north of Fremont.
Co-owner Kiersten Trammel explains how she is keeping tradition alive while bringing new ideas to this classic venue. Meanwhile, her son Drew shows us his recipes for the bourbon black & blue burger, chicken wings tossed in hot honey, and a super t flatbread. They’re all full of flavor and you’ll need those paper towels on the table, for sure!
