Sheriff seeking to identify 2 vehicles of interest in Fulton County hit-and-run

The sheriff’s office says the two vehicles “may have witnessed” the Aug. 23 hit-and-run that injured a bicyclist.

FULTON COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two vehicles of interest in a hit-and-run that injured a bicyclist last weekend.

The sheriff’s office says the vehicles “may have witnessed” the Aug. 23 incident at approximately 1:19 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 120 and County Road 15-1.

Deputies say Charles Miller, 51, of Morenci, Michigan, was traveling eastbound on State Route 120 when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

Miller’s family told WTOL 11 he was taken to the hospital and is on life support.

“My dad was leaving my grandma’s house,” said Charles’ daughter, Kierstyn Miller. “He was on his pedal bike. It was a pedal and a gas-powered, and somebody hit him and just left him on the side of the road.”

If you have any information on the incident or the suspect driver, you are encouraged to call the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at 419-335-4010.
