TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – ProMedica officials announced Friday that a new network participation agreement with Medical Mutual has been finalized.
According to a press release from ProMedica, the new multi-year agreement allows Medical Mutual and Medical Mutual-Paramount members to continue accessing care and services provided by ProMedica hospitals.
“The relationship between patients and providers is vital to a person’s health and overall well-being,” said Kent Bishop, MD, Chief Medical Officer at ProMedica. ”We are pleased to have come to a fair and equitable agreement with Medical Mutual that respects and upholds this essential connection.”
According to the release, the agreement applies to all Medical Mutual and Medical Mutual-Paramount insurance products, including commercial insurance, employer-sponsored health plans, the Affordable Care Act health insurance market and Medicare Advantage.
