Police: Two in custody, two still missing after truck rolls over on Alexis Road

One of the two people in custody had a warrant out for their arrest and the other person, who was driving, will be cited for a hit-skip, according to police.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Two people have been taken into custody and police are searching for two others after a truck rolled over in west Toledo Thursday night with all four of them inside of it.

One of the two people taken into custody had a warrant out for their arrest and the other person, who was driving, will be cited for a hit-skip,according to a Toledo police sergeant.

It is not known if any of the four people involved suffered injuries in the crash, which happened around 11 p.m. on West Alexis Road, just west of the Lewis Avenue intersection.

The truck was the only vehicle involved in the crash, but none of the occupants, all males, were inside it when officers arrived, according to the sergeant, who added that one of the four occupants had the license plates with them.

It is not clear at this time what caused the crash.
