The driver’s condition is not known at this time. He crashed into the tree off of Airport Highway near Foredale Avenue around 12:30 a.m., according to police.
TOLEDO, Ohio — A driver was taken to the hospital overnight Thursday after crashing into a tree off of Airport Highway in south Toledo, according to police.
Police at the scene, near Foredale Avenue just east of the Byrne Road intersection, told WTOL 11 the crash happened around 12:30 a.m.
The driver’s condition, age and identity is not known at this time.
According to witness statements given to police, the driver was going west on Airport Highway when he went off the road and hit the tree.
