TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Perrysburg teenager is facing charges for allegedly making school shooting threats against a Toledo school, police reports said.
According to the TPD report, 911 dispatchers received a call on Monday morning by someone saying there would be a shooting at Start High School on Tremainsville in Toledo.
The investigation led police to a 16-year-old boy who lives in Perrysburg. Once police officers spoke with the teen, they determined it was a prank and there was no real threat to carry out a shooting.
The teen will still face charges for making the false threat, the police report said, but it’s unclear exactly what the charge will be.
