Perrysburg leaders are discussing budget cuts for the next school year at Monday night’s Board of Education meeting.
PERRYSBURG, Ohio — Perrysburg school leaders announced reductions could be on the horizon if voters reject a proposed operational levy this fall.
On Monday, Sept. 22, the district’s Board of Education will meet, discuss and vote on the specific cuts that would take place during the 2026-2027 school year if the levy fails. The meeting will take place at 5:45 p.m. at the Central Office Commodore Building on East Indiana Avenue. The meeting will also be available to watch on the district’s YouTube channel the following day.
Additionally, Perrysburg Superintendent Kadee Anstadt will host a series of Q&A sessions throughout the week to answer questions from community members.
The sessions will be hosted on the following days:
- Tues. 9/23 from 6:00–7:00 p.m. — Sidelines Sports Eatery
- Wed. 9/24 from 7:00–8:00 a.m. — Maddie & Bella
- Thurs. 9/25 from 4:00–5:00 p.m. — Way Library
- Fri. 9/26 from 12:00–1:00 p.m. — Facebook Live @PerrysburgSchools
The levy, which will be on the Nov. 4 ballot, would generate about $11 million annually over the next five years. The proposal, at 7.84 mills, comes after more than $6 million in budget cuts following a failed replacement levy last November.
