Perrysburg Schools releases report on teacher who resigned in December


PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WTVG) – The independent investigation pertaining to a former Perrysburg who resigned his position has now been released.

John Henline resigned on December 16th after being investigated by the district for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student. He informed the district of his plans to retire at that time.

The district released this statement about Henline in December:

“John Henline, a teaching employee with Perrysburg Schools, submitted his resignation during the course of an alleged conduct unbecoming. More specifically, the district received a report that Mr. Henline may have had an inappropriate relationship with a female student in the late 1990s, during his first years of employment with the district.”

The I-TEAM reached out to Henline for a comment but we have not heard back yet.
