TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A pedestrian was hospitalized Wednesday after they were hit by a car in Toledo.
Police said a red Chevy was stopped for a red light at the intersection of W. Sylvania Ave. and Bowen and went to make a left turn onto W. Sylvania when the light turned green.
The driver didn’t see the pedestrian in the crosswalk. The vehicle hit her and knocked her to the pavement. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment, but police did not disclose her condition.
The names and ages of the people involved were also not disclosed. It’s unclear whether anyone will be cited.
