According to Toledo police, the shooting happened in the 500 block of Arden Place.
TOLEDO, Ohio — A shooting in East Toledo has resulted in two people hospitalized.
The incident happened late Saturday night, just before midnight, in the 500 block of Arden Place.
According to Toledo police, two adult men were hospitalized following the altercation.
One man, whose identity was not released, was shot at least one time in the torso, according to a detective on scene. He was transported to a local hospital for his injuries.
First responders on scene told WTOL 11 that the second man was transported to the hospital due to unspecified injuries sustained during an assault.
The conditions of both men are currently unknown, but detectives stated that both are expected to survive.
Circumstances leading up to the incident are currently under investigation.
