BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Law enforcement were called to Bowling Green State University’s library Monday morning regarding a possible active shooter, a situation in which police determined there was no immediate threat.
In an alert to university students and staff, BGSU police said its officers responded to an anonymous “call of threat” at the library. The call had been made to the city of Bowling Green, then forwarded to police.
BGSU police said it determined there was no threat. Bowling Green city police assisted on scene, the department told WTOL 11.
In its alert, BGSU said it would provide more information in a follow-up email.
