Man walking on I-75 exit ramp after car becomes disabled gets hit, killed by vehicle


ORANGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WTVG) – A man who was walking on an I-75 exit ramp after his car became disabled was hit and killed by a vehicle on Thursday, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

OSHP says on Dec. 5 around 6:22 a.m., Joshua Little, 42, of Wapakoneta, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet HHR on southbound I-75 when his car became disabled on the right shoulder at the exit ramp to S.R. 103 in Hancock County.

Little got out of his vehicle and started to walk on the exit ramp to S.R. 103 when he was hit by a 2016 Ford Edge that was being operated by a 64-year-old man.

According to OSHP, Little died at the scene and was transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s office. The 64-year-old driver was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
