TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating a shooting that injured one person in central Toledo early Saturday.
According to a report, officers were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of Hamilton Street just before 3 a.m. after receiving a call for shots fired. Officers found that the home had been struck by gunfire multiple times, and conducted a safety check of the home’s occupants.
Police said one person inside, a 33-year-old man, had been shot once in the leg. According to police, he refused medical treatment and was not cooperative. His condition nor the severity of the injuries were not stated in the police report.
Investigators located multiple shell casings. The incident remains under investigation, and no suspects were named.
