FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WTVG) – Deputies are searching for three men who allegedly robbed a jewelry store in Frenchtown Township.
Authorities said the Kay Jewelers at 2332 N. Telegraph Rd in Monroe County was robbed around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said three black males in their late teens to early twenties entered the store, broke display cases and stole jewelry.
They then left in a white Jeep, according to deputies.
Deputies said the Jeep was found abandoned less than a mile away on Lasalle Rd, east of N. Telegraph Rd.
The vehicle had previously been reported stolen to the Detroit Police Department.
The robbery is under investigation by the Uniformed Services Division and the Detective Bureau.
