MONROE, Mich. (WTVG) – A 36 year-old Monroe woman was charged with felony embezzlement Thursday.
According to Monroe County prosecutors, the 36-year-old Monroe woman allegedly took large amounts of cash from the store daily over the course of a year, which were designated for store deposits.
The alleged theft totaled $61,636.33.
The woman’s identity will be made public after she is arraigned in court.
The woman is a former employee of the store and served on the management team during the thefts.
