Family in Oregon, Ohio without a home after Saturday fire

The fire, on South Coy Road, in Oregon, started around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

OREGON, Ohio — A family is without a home after a fire on Saturday evening in Oregon.

The fire broke out around 9:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of South Coy Road between Brown Road and Pickle Road according to firefighters with the Oregon Fire and Rescue Department.

The three people who live in the home were all were able to make it outside safely.

The Red Cross will be assisting the family which was deemed unlivable.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No firefighters were hurt while putting out the fire.
