TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Drug Enforcement Administration is inviting employers in the Toledo area to participate in a free drug education seminar in June.
The event will feature a presentation by Steve Murphy from the hit Netflix show “Narcos.” It will also give employers skills to detect someone struggling with addiction and provide resources to help those employees and their loved ones.
The three-hour seminar is set for Tuesday, June 17 from 1-4 p.m. at the Glass City Pavilion at 1001 Riverside Drive.
The event is open to all employers in the area.
The event is part of the DEA’s Operation Engage. The community-level initiative came to Toledo last year in an effort to address emerging drug threats in the region.
