TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The City of Toledo has announced it is offering free Christmas tree recycling to all residents.
From Dec. 27 through Jan. 31, Toledo residents can drop off their Christmas trees at one of the following locations:
- Jermain Park located at 1720 S. Cove Blvd.
- Detwiler Park located at 3775 E. Manhattan Blvd.
- Byrne Park located at 2201 Byrne Road
- Ravine II Park located at 1600 Mott Ave.
- Bowman Park located at 4793 Jackman Road
The City says trees should be cleared of all decorations, bags or other materials. The collected trees will be ground into mulch by forestry crews.
