The crash happened at the intersection of Dorr Street and Upton Avenue, according to Toledo police.
TOLEDO, Ohio — A person was seriously injured in a bicycle crash involving a vehicle in west Toledo late Friday, according to a Toledo Police report.
Police said a vehicle with three total occupants was traveling eastbound on Dorr Street approaching Upton around 8:30 p.m. The driver of the vehicle told police she had a green light when a 17-year-old bicyclist, traveling south on Upton, was struck.
Police said the bicyclist suffered a serious injury as a result of the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment. However, his injuries are expected to be non-life threatening, according to police.
No one else was injured in the crash, police said.
