After 52 years in law enforcement, Hancock Co. Sheriff retiring


FINDLAY, Ohio (WTVG) – The long-time sheriff of Hancock County is retiring.

Sheriff Michael E. Heldman spent 52 years in law enforcement, including 28 years as sheriff, the longest-serving Sheriff in Hancock County’s history.

A retirement party is scheduled for Friday at Old Mill Stream Centre.
