4 people involved in rollover crash on I-75, lanes reopen to traffic


The crash happened around 2 a.m. on I-75 south between Detroit Avenue near I-475. One person was ejected during the crash.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating the cause of a rollover crash on I-75 that left four people hospitalized with injuries.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. on I-75 south between Detroit Avenue near I-475.

Police at the scene told WTOL 11 the driver of a Jeep lost control on a curve at the I-75 southbound entrance from 475 eastbound and went off road before rolling over multiple times.

According to a police report, one person was ejected from the vehicle and was critically injured. The report also stated that an additional occupant had injuries but did not specify the severity.

All four individuals inside the car were taken to the hospital. 

All southbound lanes were shut down for hours as police and emergency crews worked to clean up the scene. The lanes have been reopened to traffic.
