TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – 13abc is partnering with local organizations for a food donation drive this November in response to the need to address food insecurity in our community.
We’re working with the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank, Dave White Chevrolet and Kroger to collect non-perishable food items to help out local families through our Hope for the Hungry Food Drive.
You can make a donation at one of numerous drop-off boxes, stationed at the locations listed below, from Monday, Nov. 3 through Thursday, Nov. 13.
To reach as many people as possible, we’re also holding three donation drive-thru events:
Friday, Nov. 7 from noon to 6:30pm:
- Kroger on Reynolds in Maumee
- Kroger on Jackman in Toledo
Saturday, Nov. 8 from 8am to noon:
- Kroger on Navarre in Oregon
The drive-thru drop-off events will have a Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank Truck collecting the donations, along with a 13 Action News camera crew for live coverage.
