We caught this writer way back in 2015, when he took a long walk through the streets of Washington, D.C. after receiving the National Medal of Arts from former president Barack Obama — and we bet he counted the honor as one of his shining achievements!
And even though he spends much of his time in Maine these days, his ties to Hollywood really keep him running, man, because his work’s been adapted for film and TV more times than we can count!
