‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’ Release Date Set By 20th Century Studios

Deliver Me from Nowhere, 20th Century Studios‘ Bruce Springsteen biopic starring The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White, is set to hit theaters on October 24.

The film will open against Warner Bros’ Mortal Kombat II, Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia from Focus Features, and Paramount’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover book Regretting You.

Written and directed by Scott Cooper, Deliver Me from Nowhere examines a transformative period in Springsteen’s life around the creation of his 1982 album Nebraska. The film examines his creative process during a time when he was grappling with fame, mental health, and complicated family dynamics.

Pic’s cast also includes Jeremy Strong in the key role of Springsteen’s manager and producer, Jon Landau, along with Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Gabby Hoffmann, Stephen Graham, David rumholtz, Marc Maron, Johnny Cannizzaro, Matthew Anthony Pellicano, and more.

Springsteen has spoken out in support of the project and White’s performance, saying in an appearance on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio, “Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it. He’s got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize. He’s just done a great job, so I’ve had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there.”

Scott Stuber, in his first move since exiting as longtime Netflix Film head, produced the pic alongside Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Eric Robinson. The film is based on the book by Warren Zanes, who is an EP here.
