EXCLUSIVE: Former A3 CEO Robert Attermann has launched Atts Entertainment, a talent management and production company. At Atts, Attermann will manage some of his longtime clients, including Tony Winner Kelly Bishop (Gilmore Girls, Dirty Dancing), Tawny Cypress (Yellowjackets), Ato Essandoh (The Diplomat), Robert Stanton (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Mr. Mercedes) and Peter McRobbie (Daredevil, The Gilded Age). The company also plans to develop and produce film projects for its roster of talent.
Attermann began his career in the mailroom at ICM before getting recruited by Harry Abrams to join the Abrams Artists Agency where he spent the bulk of his career to date.
In 2018, Attermann was part of the group which acquired Abrams from its founder and went on to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the agency, subsequently rebranded as A3 Artists Agency. A3 folded in 2024 after the sale of its digital and alternative divisions to Gersh and months of internal strife, culminating in explosive litigation among the leadership, which Attermann was part of. This marks his return to representation, this time on the management side.
“Launching Atts Entertainment is about creating a company that truly puts artists first,” Attermann said. “My goal is to combine decades of experience with a fresh, forward-thinking approach to help talent thrive in today’s ever-evolving entertainment landscape. I’m excited not only to continue managing extraordinary artists, but also to expand into producing projects that give them new opportunities to shine.”
