Sandusky woman killed in Huron Co. semi crash


NORWALK, Ohio (WTVG) – One woman died in a crash involving a semi Thursday morning at the intersection of S.R. 4 and S.R. 113 in Lyme Township.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a semi driven by a 68-year-old from Akron was traveling east on S.R. 113 when an Acura traveling south went through a red light and was hit.

The semi driver was uninjured, but the driver of the Acura, Myeicia Amison, 28, of Sandusky, died at the scene.

Alcohol and drugs are not considered a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
