Ohio State Hosts Bellarmine Thursday for Season Ticket Holder Appreciation



COLUMBUS, Ohio – The RV/25 Ohio State women’s basketball team (1-0) hosts Bellarmine (1-1) on Thursday for season ticket holder appreciation night. Tip-off on B1G+ is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
 
Parking for all home women’s basketball games is free in the Gray and Buckeye lots. All Ohio State students receive free admission with their BuckID.
 
The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team will take the court at halftime to perform a balance beam exhibition. Season ticket holders can pick up their exclusive THE towel at the promotions tables on the concourse near the northwest and northeast rotundas. Season ticket holders are also encouraged to arrive early as one lucky season ticket holder will be upgraded to a suite. In honor of season ticket holder appreciation night, listen closely throughout the game as the season ticket holders have helped create the playlist.

  • Ohio State earned an 88-59 victory against Coppin State in the season opener on Sunday afternoon in Columbus.
  • The Buckeyes received votes in this week’s AP poll and are ranked No. 25 in the weekly WBCA poll.
  • Sophomore Jaloni Cambridge led the Buckeyes in Sunday’s win against the Eagles with 23 points, eight rebounds (tied career-high) and six assists. Chance Gray (17) and Kennedy Cambridge (11) joined J. Cambridge in double figures, while K. Cambridge tallied a career-high seven steals.
  • All 11 Buckeyes played, scored and grabbed at least two rebounds in the win. This includes the first collegiate points for Dasha Biriuk, Seini Henry, Ella Hobbs, Kylee Kitts and Bryn Martin in their collegiate debut.
  • Bellarmine is 1-1 through its first week of the season under new head coach Monique Reed. The Knights beat Spalding (Ky.) by a 77-51 margin in the season opener before falling to Morehead State by an 84-68 margin on Friday.
  • Triniti Ralston leads Bellarmine with 15.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game through the first two games as eight players are averaging at least 6.5 points.
  • Bellarmine graduated a trio of all-conference performers from a season ago and welcomed seven transfers to the roster in the offseason.
  • Ohio State is 1-0 in the all-time series against Bellarmine, winning by a 110-58 margin in the only previous meeting in the series on Nov. 23, 2021 in Columbus.
